The Financial Planning Analyst supports management planning and decision making by identifying, maintaining, and evaluating information and recommends actions.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyse current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses and capital expenditures.
    • Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analysing causes of unexpected variances, etc.
      • Responsible for preparing Business Plan, Budget and Financial Forecasting. Building and maintaining Excel models to support the planning process.
        • Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives.
          • Review/building of business case for new product, tariffs, commission schemes
            • Improve performance by evaluating processes to drive efficiencies and understand ROI in marketing programs, pricing and new projects.
              • Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis.
                • Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly Financial reports.
                  • Maintain Dashboard reports.
                    • Analyse complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes.
                      • Supporting Senior Management Team with in-depth analysis of reports.
                        • Prepare presentations to Board of Directors and Senior Management Team.
                          • Protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
                            • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as and when needed.

                            REQUIREMENTS

                            • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
                            • 2 - 5 years’ experience in financial planning and analysis
                            • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
                            • Preferable knowledge of DWH tools like Qlickview
                            • Preferable to have worked in a cellular/telecoms environment.
                            • Commercial awareness
                            • Excellent communication skills, at all levels.
                            • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
                            • Task-orientated individual and self-starter, but also have the ability to work as part of a team.
                            • Proactive approach.
                            • Good understanding and practical application of accounting.
                            • Good organizational skills and the ability to meet frequent deadlines.
                            • Common sense and an enquiring mind.
                            • Ability to deal effectively with individuals at all levels.
                            • Attention to details
                            • Strong analytical skills.
                            • Strong knowledge of Excel / Financial Model builder
