My client is a small accounting firm, looking for a financial accountant in their Cape Town offices in town. You must have a minimum of 2 years doing financial accounting/management work.
JOB DESCRIPTION Includes the following but not limit to: General 1. Compiling financial statements for Individuals, Companies, Close Corporations and Trusts 2. Tax calculations and planning for individuals, Companies, Close Corporations and Trusts 3. Completing Tax Returns 4. EMP (Paye, Uif, SDL) Reconciliations and calculations using Intercode Payroll and Microsoft Excel 5. Capturing of transactions (Bank transactions and Invoices) 6. Capable of utilising Pastel Xpress v17, Legalsuite and Payroll 7. Bank Reconciliation 8. Completion of Statutory and VAT returns. 9. Statutory registrations. (Income Tax, PAYE, VAT) 10. New company registrations or amendments. (Director changes, Annual Return Submissions) 11. General Administration Additional duties may include: 1. Reconcile debtor and creditor control accounts and implementing a new payment system 2. Managing daily creditor payment 3. Maintaining financial records on Legalsuite
1. B.Comm Accounting Degree.
2. Completed CA(SA), CA(SAICA) or SAIPA with an minimum of two years post articles work experience.
3. Ability to work quickly and under pressure.
4. Extremely well spoken, presentable and efficient.
