A client of our working in the Asset Management space looking for a candidate with a genuine passion for investments to join their team. The candidate will be required to research and analyze shares listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange to identify investment opportunities from which Portfolio Managers can make decisions to bolster their clients’ portfolios.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Research of companies and sectors listed on the JSE.
Assimilation and dissemination of broker information, annual reports, and company visits
Presentation of recommendations to the investment team
Tracking performance of companies that they have holdings in.
Ideal Experience
Up to 5 years of working experience as an equity analyst within asset management would be an advantage.
Experience in building models for forecasting purposes.

Chartered Accountant
Business Science
Chartered Financial Analyst
